Hi, I’m Emma, the founder of My Wedge Buddy. The journey behind this brand began with my own personal struggle - recovering from ACL reconstruction surgery a few years ago. The road to recovery was long, painful, and filled with sleepless nights. I tried everything - adjusting pillows, stacking them up; but nothing seemed to help. I was in constant discomfort and couldn’t get the rest I desperately needed. That’s when I decided there had to be a better way.

I wanted to find a product that would not only help people in recovery but also support anyone dealing with pain, poor sleep, or discomfort—whether from surgery, chronic conditions, or just the everyday strain on our bodies. That's when My Wedge Buddy was born. I set out to design a wedge pillow that could truly support you, help you sleep better, and make recovery easier.

My grandma, who suffers from severe back pain, arthritis and snoring, was another huge inspiration. Watching her wake up seven times a night, constantly repositioning herself because no pillow could give her relief, made me more determined to find something that would offer real, lasting support.

As a side sleeper myself, I knew how important it was to have the right pillow to ease pressure. No matter how I positioned myself, my knees always hurt. I needed something that could provide the right support between my legs, and that’s why we offer a pillow that targets these pain points, helping side sleepers and back sleepers alike get the rest they deserve.
